Help!, Technical Blurb...

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 10-April 07 Member No.: 38,120 Location: UK Drives: 1980 Mitsubishi Celeste Status: OFFLINE	Hello United Kingdom! Think I've blown the head gasket onme beautiful Mitsubishi Celeste- Not a cheap thing to fix. Have been advised that the 4g37 motor will fit straight in, using my existing gearbox. I believe it's the engine from a space wagon of all things?!Anybody know if this is true, and secondly, where can I get one??? I think the Celeste is just a pre '84 Lancer with nicer clothes...

The spirit of competition Group: Super Mod Posts: 1,330 Joined: 2-November 04 Member No.: 2,565 Location: Irish...but currently in Hordaland,Norway Drives: 98 galant(2.0) gls,90 galant(1.8) gls h/b,92 colt exe(1.3) Status: OFFLINE	Hmmm i have no idea about this,but ive a 4g37 in a 90 galant they are also in space wagon.I think the post 92 models are all efi though so youd want one with a carb.Plenty of them about in scrap yards and such,What engine was in there before?
