Hi everyone, If I buy a body kit, can I paint the parts in my garage before I put them on. And will it look alright. Im not going for show quality, just so it looks decent. Ive painted car parts before, and the color was dead on, but it was a matte surface and not gloss like the rest of the car, how would I get a gloss finish on the pieces of the body kit. If ive been reading right I should take off my stock parts, install the new body kit, take it off and then paint it. I know that if it does not come primered i will have to primer it. Then apply a coat of paint, then sand with 2000grit, then re apply paint, probably total of 3-4 coats. But then what do I do, is there a site out there to help, thanks.
