Hey guys,

Just signed up to your forum. I've read some threads, searched and cannot find an answer to my question.

My mother drives a 2004 Endeavor Limited and I want to get her an xm radio for her birthday. How hard is it to install those external units, and are there instructions posted anywhere online?

Thanks guys.

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1]Actually it is fairly easy to install an external XM radio. I have the Pioneer Airware. I purchased a gooseneck mount from ebay. You loosen the front bolt on the drivers carseat, slide the mount under and retighten the bolt..the goosneck holds your xm radio base which plugs into the cigarette plug and to the antennae. The antennae can be mounted (use foam double sided tape) in the center front dash (right at the windshield) and the wire can be run under the rubber molding and cable tied under the dash as needed to the base on the goosneck stand.

Hope this helps
