First off, quick apologies if this subject isn't new, I did a search for 'door' in the 1G2G section and came up with nothing. Can't say I didn't try, and that said...

There are tons of vertical door kits available for the 1G2G eclipses, are any/all crap? Are there any brands or mechanisms to look for or to avoid? I seem to remember reading something about the hydraulics being problematic sometimes, and that the door will cease to stay open on its own. Inconvenient, I'd say, to have a door come down hard on the top of one's head. What experiences have people had with them, either personally or friends or just hearsay?

There was a nice kit from this car on pimp my ride. The best part was you could bolt it up where your stock holes are for the hinges. I forgot the site though I like the ones that can go vertical to horizontal.
