I got a very easy way to answer this. Go out on a long back road and just go as fast as you can. Then come back and post your results. Then you can answer your own question.

has almost nooo 0.29 drag. (Best in the auto industry)

Not the only ones...my Galant has the same drag numbers and my model has a curb weight of only 2755lbs :bwekk: . I have hit 120 in the G, but that was with a messed up auto trans. After my swap should be interesting to see how well it gets moving.

...well at least until i get tires that can handle that kind of speed.

if you want to keep it on the ground springs and shocks,no coil overs their junk.and the right tire pressure, always 2psi less in the back,it will track a staight line better.as for stock i dont know anyone that has one,LOL.

lift? at 130? Wierd lol..... the only thing that bothers me at high speeds is if friggen wind gusts that push me out of lanes...LMAO

Personally i dislike how the 2g behaves over 100....doesnt really pull hard compared to my 240sx....(time for hotshots)

i took it to 124 and it started creeping. it gets up to 100 nicely though..

I guess that means the best low you will ever get is time you DON'T recover.

lol yea. around here we dont have to worry about wind gusts much, but we do have to worry about the condition of the road. many roads around here are very uneven and you catch a bump at the right speed while crossing lanes... yea you get the picture.

i dont know where you got your ticket, but its not like that around here lol. i live north of shreveport and where i live, i got a ticket and i had to pay it and it went on my record no matter what. in shreveport i got a ticket and i had to pay it, but they gave me to option to take a driving course and keep it off my record. so i did lol.

I don't like to tell this story because i don't recommend trying it but:

I live in the mountains of PA. before I turbo'd the car or swapped the 5-speed I had it lowered and was ricing around. One nite I was going home from the mall. I decided, F it i'm going to see what this thing tops out at. I put my foot into the pedal and kept it there.

to understand the result you have to understand the road I was on. 4 lane highway, hardly any traffic EVER and 3 miles downhill, a bridge, and then 3 miles up the other side. 15% grade, it helped. I hit 147 and got scared because I was running t rated tires and still had 1000 rpm to go.

Now, who is going to believe that? So I called my buddy and picked him up to do it again and have a witness. We checked everything just to be safe, seatbelts, tires, tire pressure, fluids, suspension bolts, strut adjustment and even the windows. We drove back to the mall onramp and I repeated the process. halfway down the hill where I hit 147 I got frustrated. The car wouldn't go faster than 135. He was laughing at me and calling me a **** for bothering him the whole way back to his house. when we got there I walked around the front of the car to go inside and it was then I noticed,,,,,,the hood wasn't latched.

THAT is why I don't recommend it. you can check everything possible and forget one thing that could kill you. that hood could have flown open, shot into the windshield and you can guess the rest,,,,,,death at 135mph.

for some reason the 97-99 420 cars didn't have speed limiters. you can go as fast as the car will let you but top speed isn't as cool as 1/4 mile or roadcourse speed. Any car can go fast, not all of them can win races or put up good times.

Be safe
