ive done 115 with the windows down still creepin along and thats alot of drag +300lb speaker case in the back and if your eclipse weighs 9k lbs u must weigh half that because a stock 2g eclipse is close to 3k lbs and for everyone ive done 172 in a 97 dodge grand caravan completely stock

maybe in km/h but mph thats a lilttle hard to belive my dad owned one to and his top out at 110 maybe less and thats was going down a bridge. maybe down a big a** hill maybe you could do that but hell will freeze first.

what are you serious?!?! thats ridiculous, i drove 120 the other day with a friend in the car... hmmm and i just got a new camera >_> im seeing potential...


grrr just rained here, but tomorrow if i can get a friend to ride /w my and do the camera work ill do 120 on film and put em online ^_^

mine tops around 130-135..but when i change the gauges and i moved the speed needle to far ahead it actually looks like it goes 150+.. is cool look at it an thinking u going that fast :P ....

you know that would be halarious you get pulled over 36 in a 35 and the cop asks you if you know why you got pilled over and you ask if you were speeding and he says yes do you know how fast you were going you say i dont know my speedo said 160 but it sure didnt feel like it i was just trying to feel like i was goin that fast lol he looks at ur speedo stopped its set at 115 :P

I used to have 99 eclipse rs completely stock and it was an automatic and I got pulled over doin 130 in it but I had like 8 miles of road to go down but it got there pretty fast. I got a 99 gs now and it's stick and I can get to doin 100 pretty quick but I also have some work done

im trying to look for another cheap engine so i can rebuild it and get it probably .40 over and boost it atleast 20psi

i guess no one told you the tires they put on most mini-vans are only good to 85mph, and that the tires with blow after 120, the suspension racks after 125, the transmission tops at 135.

those are just the obvious things, its only possible if you have a highly modded van with a **** ton of work done to it, but then again with that kind of work you could make anything do that.

so yea, im callin BS on it too. and 20 PSI on a 420A bored 40 over is almost a guaranteed cracked cylinder wall.

i went 130 in my 98 rs it was downhill where i did it but it got up to 130 pretty quick. not bullshitting.

i had my N/A 5 speed jasper engine eclipse 2 138 mph still had a wee bit a room left and had to back off cause of a blind hill ... havent been brave enough since lol
