This is probably a dumb sounding question but my son has a 93 Laser and one of his friends says he can easily swap the 1.8 with a 2.2 from a Honda, I know you can put motors from other makes into cars but most of the time it is more costly and a pain than just using a motor made for your car. Just wondering!

motor trans shiftlinkage ecu axels money if he finds the H22 find a prelude to go along with it...
\
or do what i want to do and drop an H22 from a prelude vtec not an SH, into a delsol slap a turbo on it and if you wanna get a little crazy you could come up with a way to hook up an all wheel drive system and totally whoop up on some evos and sti's all day long. plus you have a targa :)

or stick with a dsm motor
