Mitsubishi isn't dying, just because they are in debt doesn't mean they are dying. Last I checked the U.S. is about 8 trillion dollars in debt... it's still alive and well, is it not? And let me ask you. Who supplies the turbo's for porsche, bmw, ferrari, and dodge? The answer is Mitsubishi.

mitsu is dying. they are slowly becoming parts suppliers and sponsors for other auto makers to race.
if only they would bring back a mildy modifiable vehicle for a decent price and start it off with a hp rating that will have the owner drooling to make more power. they would have to bring back tuneability, workability, and an aftermarket base for the average person with decent mechanical ability.
I would rather buy a $15,000 vehicle that I could "play" with, add parts, modify this, tune that and make huge horse power with than spend $30,000 on an EVO and not know what i'm doing unless i'm a certified mitsu master tech.
dodge did that with the srt. it was a decently quick car off the showroom. then they offered modification kits that were easily installed by a person who had a novice ability under a hood,,, not to mention names these kits with names EVERYONE who has ever wanted to make power but didn't know ANYTHING could relate to (stage I, stage II, stage III) That's what mitsu needs, only,,, not a neon.
