Greetings to all, from a newbie. I have just purchased a 2006 CZ3 DID ex demo. I am assured that there is an alarm fitted, as a dealer fitted option. Short of trying to break into the car is there a way I can tell if it has been fitted, there does not appear to be any flashing indicator that I am used to on previous vehicles, although as this is my first Mitsubishi I cant compare.
Many thanks for any help, regards, Richard

Is there not a separate fob on your keys?I really dont know about the alarms fitted to these but if you look under the bonnet you should find an unusual box bolted to the firewall normally, possibly with some other companys name, you may also find a separate horn for it.

If as i suspect from your post there is no fob on your keys,id say the dealer(clueless as he must have been) got confused with an immobiliser and an alarm.

Many thanks for your reply, I'd suspect just that you are correct, I will chase it up with the dealer,
