i agree if you wish hard enough it may happen. like one of my friends did. he intentionally blew his motor. his parents gave him 7g to fix it the way he wants. i told him why the hell did'nt you just pull the motor and sold it then got a new one.but he had to have a reason so his parents would give him the money to do so. stupid bas***d but it work for him to cheat his parents iguess.i'm all for respecting my folks.

haha..i'm sorta in the same boat..

my dad doesnt even know how to change oil..
my mom couldnt replace her own windsheild wipers

I am the opposite outta everyone in my family

soo everytime i do something to my car
i get asked by my hole family
why are you draining money into a 97 with a170,000 miles on it!?

were the same here. i rather build up on what i got then have to pay for a new car for the next 5-6 years. i could build a better car with what i want. instead of waiting like 2 years for some headers to come out or any other performance part.

i got my eclipse for 2500
Think about it
for...25 grand
you could build a gs that would SMOKE an evo

true. hell i got a rt charger and there's nothing for it other then intake,cat-back and maybe a superchip. not to mention it will void my warranty if i install it. i hate the fact that there si nothing for it. i hardly drive it anyway.i regret buying it. not to mention its pushing 340hp i can easily push far more on my eclipse with the right tuning. not even manual tranny its autostick.

see, this is sorta what i was thinking, upgrade what i have instead of getting something new. problem is, unless i buy a new engine altogether, i really cant upgrade what i already have. oh well, ill figure something out when the time comes.
