I got a 1998 chariot grandis super exceed 2.4 GDI and management light light doesnt turn off unless I will have the battery disconnected for atleast 5 second before starting the engine. If the management light is on the car feels like driving with the hand brake on but if I have the battery disconnected before starting the car the management light will turn off after starting the engine and the car will drive fine. It tuned out to be the trottle body and I am being charged £1200 to have it replaced. Could anyonegive me advice how to sort the problem without spending that much money pleeeeeease!!!!!!!! I would appreciatre it very much

Try http://www.ecu-testing.com/. They advertise throttle bodies and can re-build them. I have not tried their services but certainly would if I had the need. They claim to re-manufacture any part they do not produce for free.
