When driving my L300, for no apparent reason loses power/revs for several seconds then goes again. This problem has been more noticeable after bumpy roads but not while driving on them. We have had the electronics looked at with no luck. Hoping that someone may have had a similar problem and found the cause.

I also have intermitting surge problems with my 4x4 starwagon, 2.4.
I have had the electronics looked at but no joy there, so I went chasing water in the fuel or some obstruction blocking the fuel intake inside the tank. I've drained the tank, checked all fuel lines & everything seems ok, so in next two weeks i hope to have the thing computer analized to find the problem, when i get the results I'll let you know if anything positive come from it. talk to you soon.

May sound silly but check your battery terminals.If one is slightly loose this is the exact sympton you'd have

I have not yet scanned the chapter on EFI models fuel management etc but will try to fit it in after work tonite.
