hi this is my second go at the mitsubishi spacewagon i use to own the glxi model. i now own the 2.4 gdi model 2002 i have encounterd a problem the dummy balance bely snapped and im not sure if this also drives the oil pump, ive rang mitsubishi dealers who are very vague and say a cple of the models do but they are not sure can anyone help please

I think you have a 4G64-2 2351cc sohc engine. If this is the case, this has an involute gear type oil pump driven from timing belt A. Timing belt B seems to drive the counterbalance shaft only. Hope this helps.
