I have a 2001 Eclipse GT. I just finished replacing my headlights, and while I was under the hood I decided to clean the battery terminals. Of course I took off the negative cable and such and cleaned it now the radio says it needs the code. I understand that but my question is, does the dash jsut pop out in front of the radio? Some quick explanation to get the radio out, help a girl out please!!!

Thanks
Kristina

underneath the console by the ashtray and cig lighter is a single phillips screw on each side. Remove those using a stubby phillips and the hood lifts off (it pivots on 2 points up by the clock pod.
