Hey,

I've got a 94 Starwagon 2.4L with a loose alternator belt and was wondering if anyone could give some instructions/guidance on how to adjust it and if possible send any pages from workshop manual that would be of any use.

Sorry no manual.... but to tighten follow the below.

When looking at the front of the motor on the the alternator bracket lossen the 12mm Hex head bolt. Then look along the bracket and you will see another 12mm Hex bolt at right angle (This is the adjustment bolt) turn it till the belt when pushed on has between 5-8mm of deflection. (Deflection is any force applied in the middle of the belt) When you achieve the desired deflection tighten the first 12mm hex bolt and your done.

Hope this helps.
