You might check the connection between the head unit and the sirius module located right behind the glove box. If the head unit can't communicate w/ the sirius module (via CAN i believe), it will give "Antenna Error". If there is no signal, then it gives a no signal error, which is completely different.

When I first got my lancer, I had an issue with the entire audio system not working until about 5-10 minutes of driving. I was without my car for 4 days while the dealer tried to fix the issue. He said it took so long because they had to find another identical car off the lot to literally swap components until the problem fixed itself. They didn't have any troubleshooting manuals for diagnosing electronics systems problems, and apparently mitsubishi was of no help to them too.

I hope your repair experience for this goes better than mine did!

the "recall" has nothing to do with your audio system.
Its mitsu voluntarily upgrading the crash standards of your car. Although they pass all federal crash tests, the SINCAP tests (tougher than the federal tests) made the left rear door pop open during the crash.
the "recall" is to address this.

Ok I talked to the Service department for Mitsubishi here in Edmonton and they said that not ALL Lancer have that rear door recall. It's only the original factory production that requires the replacement. So if your Lancer didn't come off the first production line it should already have the new system installed.

How to find out? Get your VIN number and call your dealer, they'll look it up for ya.
