Recently my A/c quit! A local mech. diagnosed a bad condenser. ($250 + labor + coolant ect.) Another shop owner specializing in A/C repair suggested removing condenser and checking it.I removed said coil along with 1/2 the front end of the car.It turned out to be an Oring at the fitting on the condenser itself. They pressure tested, cleaned, and even painted it ($35)WOW.He claimed it was real common problem that others overlook.A BIG THANKS to Glen Friedrick of Belleville,Il. An honest, staightup mechanic!! It didn't hurt that his son races Karts at the same tracks I do.LOL

as a reply or situation somewhat simular.....I am having problems with my AC in my clipse and I took it to Mitsu for check-up. They say high end of ac is to high and low end is too low. What do I do? Dad recommends completely draining and pumping down system and recharging. Any other suggestions b4 I get shafted and start too shaft?

well its not that hard and cheaper if you do it yourself if you know waht your doing. but you do need some ac gauges to tell you the right pressure.i did it on my work truck due to an accident and busted the condenser took 4 cans of refrigerant to be cold as the north pole.just make sure you get the right one for your car.

Thanx bruh. will get on that Mon. I just moved to Texas and just finished unpacking so now it's time to play with car somemore. There's alot of imports here and alot of them are very fast. I'm in Killeen( Ft. Hood area ). So i'm definitely gonna have to get that vortech supercharger once I get this AC/Cooling problem under control. Got my azz handed to me by a supercharged Scion. Did know it was until it was too late. Was very quiet car and very quick.
