Hi i have a 1994 2litre petrol spacewagon a when you rev it water comes flying out of the exhaust it does not use any oil or water or overheat at all, it does seem to reach its normal operating temperature very quickly but stays there all day and today the check engine light has come on and won't go out but the car runs superbly. Any ideas anyone anyone at all. :)

I'm a bit sketchy on this but from memory there will always be water in the exhaust of a petrol car anyway, as the engine warms up it turns to steam and exits the back as it's one of the byproducts of burning petrol and the main reason the exhaust rusts from the inside out.

If you google 'how stuff works' you should be able to find an explanation for this along with loads of other things you didn't realise you wanted to know.

In short, if you're not losing water and it's not becoming contaminated don't worry about it.
