...I wrecked my 3000GT last night. Me and a couple of guys were on a windy road and i took a turn going too fast and lost traction. Slammed right into the guard rail. Now I'm trying to scavange the money to repair as much as of the car as I can. Luckily it's all body damage. But one problem. I'm having a very hard time finding a new headlight, driver's side. It's a '96 model, white. I'll also need a new driver's side turn signal. Any help?

:(

edit:
Dec 10, 2007

So good news. My dad and I worked on my wrecked 3000GT for a few months, got a welding kit, our friend to help us with the paint, new headlight, new fender... And it looks even better than before. Also, we got ourselves a new clutch and flywheel, so it's a great improvement. Costs us about 2000, a lot less than an estimated 6. So perhaps it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

yah to tell you the truth thats probably the worst thing to loose

i was looking for 99 headlights they dont make aftermarket you have to call the dealer unless you can find someones used parts

anyways the 99 headlights were 800 dollars but it varies where you live

your best bet is to look around online and if not call a dealership

youll probably spend around 300 bucks if not more

Yeah, it looks like just the driver's side headlight is gonna cost me around 370 used. Not even the right color either. I'm wondering how much it's gonna cost if I go to the manufacturer, or even if they'd be able to get them... Anyone here good at estimates? I'll need a new driver's side front fender, back fender, rear bumper, and front grill (or at least I think that's what it's called, it's right under the headlights, above the bumper). As of right now, I'm slightly too bummed out to take it down to a body shop.

If that is too much, and your looking for a cheaper fix, you need to start at www.3si.org for parts. Then you need to work out where to get the car painted. You won't save money there, but you can finding cheaper than OEM parts.

Most junk yards are crap for GT's. If its a VR4 its shipped to Cali to be rebuilt. If its not, its parted out before anyone who really needs the parts can get to them.
