I have a 97 eclipse gst and ive been having trouble with oil smoke. I changed the valve cover gasket and the exhaust gasket because i thought it might be seeping through but still it smoked. Just recently i bought a new turbo cartridge for it and no smoke all the problems were sovle till i was stuck in a traffic jam at low idle for a good while it started smoking bad. So if any one can help i wanted to no if you might think its the oil pump not keeping enough pressure on the turbo and also wat oil pressure does some of your cars run at wen idleing thank you for the help if you respond

"This is caused by uncombusted [unburned] fuel. Could be plugs, timing, clogged air filter, air/fuel mixture, wires, coil, etc. Start with the cheapest answer and work your way up."

when was the last time you did your tune up? is your car giving you a cel (check engine light)??
