i'm going to buy a x-reg space star 1.5 glx revolution. it has a tape player at the moment and i want to fit a cd player. is this an expensive job. is there a button to reset the mpg reading on the top centre display. i had a 2003 crisma and the button was built into the cd player

unfortunatly there is no button it is on the head unit all i did was change the setting so i got how many miles till i have to fill up and then changed the head unit its a simple job you can do your self just 4 holes in the head unit with a clip in each then pull out and get an iso block for a carisma, galant, space wagon, space star and it will go straight on.

so if i change the head unit to a non-mitusbishi item then i can't change the settings the the fuel and mpg and more

we had the same dilema - we got the dealer to swap the head unit for carisma one or something that had the cd controller function and bought the disc changer seperately, that way we still had the function button for mpg, distance etc.
