Most dealers don't carry this kind of stuff in stock because there are so many different types of audio parts, plus, they are EXPENSIVE.

I was thinking in class how I could get the bet of both words. I was thinkin I want hard hitting bass.....but I don't want to blow out my sub again....I was thinkin of a project

depending on what kind of amp, I would buy another sub with enclosure and stick it on the right side(opposite) of the other sub and hook it up through the current or another amp ..then right to the head. This was u can have hard hitting bass but now the power is distributed betwen the 2 subs so they wont hit as hard but sounds hard since there two..and will prob save the lifespan of the sub

Would this work...or is this a trashed plan from the beginning

Definitly dude...keep me posted as well...I thinkin if I should buy the enclosure from mitsu or get a different one....I would love for it to match..but i noe mitsu is going to charge an arm and a leg

You should check out evolutionm.net they got some pretty good knowledgable people

ok so i got tired of waiting for my stupid dealership to answer me with wtf is going on with my sub so i sent an email directly to Rockford to see what they say. Then im gonna go to mitsubishi directly and get some answers. im tired of playin this lil game. well see what happends maybe if enough of us send stuff to rockford and mitsu they will wake the **** up and help us!

yea post the link to rocford..I"ll give them a write.

I am jsut amazed how the sub cracked within 2 monthes.

before I even got my lancer, I've always heard of rockfords being pretty good speakers.

But yea I am selling my paintball gear :( :( I could get about 1200 bucks. I need money for this car, I am addicted to modding this car. lol I really want lambo doors

omg ok this is so funny. I got really upset because rockford sent me a message saying they have nothing to do with the sub so ok its all mitsubishis fault. I called my dealer and completely blew up i told them if they didnt have my sub tomm im giving the car back and not paying for it anymore. My sub will be there ready for installation tomm when i get my oil change. BOOM bout damn time.

MItsubishi called my mom today and told me the sub came in....

came a day early...wish my mom called me and told me so I could go get it fixed. I have work tomorrow, so I cant go :(.....moms always ruining things lol

I'm gonna talk to the tech guys and talk to him about teh double sub idea and see wat he thinks about it and how much it would cost
