it so happens when they called me and said my order came in...I was thinking that it was my new sub ready for installation.....it so happens it was the 2 chrome lancer license plates I ordered over a month ago. 

They told me they didn't even get billed for it yet. he told me to call him in a week. 

Frankley this is a load of ****.  They could overnight that  mad easily...but they wont.....cause they want to do it the cheapest way possible,  they prob got someone walking it on foot to the dealer...damn penny pinchers

alright dude this is what you do call them and tell them that you are going to report them to mitsubishi for not giving the garenteed satisfaction that mitsubishi always wants. and if they say you have to wait ask them for the dealer id number and hit up mitsubishi and tell them how they have treated you. i have heard from a source that

"The subs are on backorder. The Eta for release of the back orders are 06-28-07 or 07-12-07 with no orders on sho ( Special handling order)."

so I would wait until next week and if nothing then start to fight for your **** remember the dealer works for you they have to attend to what you ask dont let them push you around, they tried to tell me it was going to be 6 hours to get me my stuff yesterday i told them if they didnt have my stuff ready that i was taking a new one with navi :D lol just dont take no for an answer. good luck!

Just got mine...I dont listen to my music really loud....sometimes I crank its up to 40 max...what are you guys doing to blow the sub??

how high did you take your sub.. !

i got mine at 4 or 3 usually.. probably start crankin it near 4 and a half years.. so i can get a new one muahhaha

it was 2 to the rght from the middle. I am really pissed, they said one week.....its been 2. I love the car but misu's customer service sucks bhuge balls

i wouldnt think u would need a new deck. I would think new amp depending on the specs of them amp.

I went to a electronic store and they said rockfords are crap and the company has been going downhill since 2000. I'm going to measure depth and width of the sub and buy another one mayb a pioneer or jl sub to replace it.

next time when I'm at my dealer i'm gonna tell them my idea for 2 subs in the back and see what they say and how much. I might as well just buy another enclosure from them and put my own sub in it

My sub punch is at 4, but the volume I take up to 40 at most but not for long....how loud are you guys listening to your music? Also, how long have you had your cars?

well i keep mine at 3 somteimes 4 depends on the song sorta.. volume around 26 for a half-n-hour drive i dont wanna push it cause the trunk rattles a little(overall the car doesnt rattle much) n i wanna add that tape stuff to fix it first.. then perhaps take the volume higher.. i keep the inside base at 4 too ... oh another thing the quality of your music plays a big difference in sound as well never overlook it!

I usually keep mine at volume ~33 with bass on 4.

I'm not usually into rap but my one friend always used to play this eminem song with some good bass. Eminem - Go to sleep. well that was the song that blew my speaker.....u guys should download it on listen to it in ur car....lowvolume of course. and listen to the bass at lets say volume 22 and u'll see how I did it lol

Yeah it depends on the music that song could of definetly do it.. GO TO SLEEP B#$&#.. maybe the sub thought you want it to die..! haahaa j/k.. i feel for you man.. but umm one time i was playing a nelly song n wtf the whole system went so loud.. so the bass in music can make a dif.. try to set the volume thing(theres an option) when you burn it.. sorry i fogot what it is it keep the volume equal!

i'm looking to replace the stock sub for something with alittle more (maybe a lot more) power handling and have a dedicated amp for the sub.

My options right now is either kickers jl's or pioneer

I was thinking kickers if I want huge punch
and jl's if I want quality.

I know nothing about subs and amps. does anyone know the specs to the stock amp and sub?
If anyone knoes any other companies that are good quality definitly post it up
