QUOTE(mr2 guy @ Mar 26 2007, 09:11 AM) Mr2 Turbo dude!! They are not ugly, theyre pretty hot when you wiork on it and its a quick MR which is even fun to drive with ~120 HP. Also the 2000-2005 eclipses are nice too, I want one of those. He want's a RWD or AWD car, so the 00-05 Eclipse won't work. I say find a GSX. I know GSX's are hard to find, but they are out there. You just have to keep searching and be patient. Ebay is a good option for finding cars that are far away from you. You can pay a third party inspector to go look at the car to see if there are any major problems. My dad has bought 4 cars through ebay and used the Ebay inspection service everytime with out incident. Or you could get a Toyota Supra (1988-1991) turbo, easily for under $10K.

I agree with the MR2, but the 120HP is the MR-S, the convertible that took over for it and uses the Celica engine...it's slow, and the engine can't handle boost well.

Well, if he wants RWD and fast for under 10K, a MKIII Supra is a way to go. They are easy to make 300 HP+, easy to work on, etc. Or he could get any Nissan Z, the 300ZX looks sweet but it's hard to work on.

I agree with the Supra, I like it better than the MKIV.

QUOTE(utiheadbanger @ Apr 2 2007, 10:38 PM) Haha...you know how many twin-turbo 300ZXs I have worked on? Same as you. I've worked on one or two NA 300s. I'm just speaking from experience with the 350Z. I love the car, but the more gadgets, the harder they are to work on...at first. Yea, I bet those 300ZX Twin Turbos are hard to come by these days. You think the 350Z is fun to work on, try working on any Jaguar. My dad has three (73 E-type V-12, 96 XJ12, 02 XKR), and they are really fun to work on. I should have been a dentist (9 cars, 3 homes, and 2.5 planes).

QUOTE(EclipsedGT @ May 10 2007, 06:10 PM) 1997 Mazda RX7 hands down, i'd trade my testicles for a mint condition one If your going to spend that kind of money, might as well get a mkv supra or an older evo.

screw all that buy a 1994 Chevy Impala police interceptor. rear wheel drive 4 doors and quick enough to keep up with all the Vettes, Mustangs, after market turbo eclipse's, it was rated the fastest police interceptor up till 2004 with a top speed of 180 or so. being pushed by the ever so popular 5.7 LT1 corvette engine with a stock power of 300HP to the wheels before the interceptor performance 9C1 police package was dropped into it. bringing it to a awesome 365 HP at the wheels. the police package involved a beefed up transmission that the normal SS was known for failing at 100,000 miles. and the police transmission stayed strong. other pieces of this package included: a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and struts, a high-capacity upgraded reverse flow cooling system, larger and more powerful four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. as well as the ever so popular ECU police tuned settings. the car drives like a demon looking for revenge and rides like its sitting on a cloud. huge trunk space and massive head and leg room from front to back, now that that annoying officer to "custody" wall is moved. if you want RWD 4 door, fast, roomy, comfortable, and good looking. i think this is the way to go. just look at this car. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...t_Impala_SS.jpgi mean how sexy is that? of course unless thats too gangster for ya!!!!!
