About the PRICING difference, maybe you might contact mitsubishicars.com about the factors affecting regional price variance.

TINT: Mine is 3m Crystalline 70% (4 side windows and rear windshield) plus felt upgrade that will prevent scratching your tint film. Cost is a hefty USD540. Crystalline is the newest product of 3M using nano technology that will not mess-up the radio, cellphone, and navi signals. Avoid using metallize film which is usually the cheaper ones. Follow your country's tint laws to safeguard your investment, you don't wanna remove your tint after you are flagged down by cop. Here in nYc, we are only allowed 70% on side windows and ANY on rear windshield. Violating those will get us 1 ticket per door (4 tickets total). It is also advisable to tint your front windshield to complete the UV and heat reduction protection. For mine, I'm planning to use the Solar Gard Ultra Performance 75% for another USD150.

REBATES: I only got the 625 handling cost off the MSRP that reduces to USD21,990 at fresh 6miles in odometer. Watch yoiur odometer before buying it because you don't want to buy a brandused car. It should be less than 200 miles or something IMO.

MPG (LPKM): Canada uses Metric system while US is using English system. I dunno if i've got the right conversion. Mine is 21mpg (11.2lpkm) in mixed city/highway, while on expressway at 60mph (97kph) I've got 32mpg (7.35lpkm).

COLOR: So far, as i've seen on stock colors running here in nYc, the ones who stands out are electric blue pearl, wicked white metallic, and rally red metallic. That's just my own opinion because mine is a rally red metallic. :)

You will never regret having a Lancer GTS 2008.

3M Crystalline CR70 film plus stock will give me a 64% VLT (visible light transmitted) which is nearer to the required 70% VLT of NYS. Though it's somewhat off to the legal limit, but then it will not catch an attention from a suspecting cop because of its clarity nearer to stock.

It is a misconception to think that a darker shade of conventional tint films is much better in terms of harmful sun rays control. In this case in comparison to crystalline, the CR70 can reject 99.99% UV rays, 97% Infrared Heat, and 59% Solar energy.

Crystalline is light but effective and safer to drive at night.

Nope, you will not be flagged down due to darker tinted windows because there is a medical exemption on NY tint law, like you can go pitch black if you are medically exempted to the tint law. But if you are pulled over due to speeding then cops will start observing your car for possible additional tickets, and tinted windows is the most targeted part of the car.

If your car is not registered in NY, maybe they will based the tint legal specs from your home-state, just a guess though.

i got pulled over in idaho and my old car was 5% and he said" i good thing you dont LIVE in Idaho or else id ticket you." so i think its whenyou tell the dmv you move or where the car is registered. i wouldnt worry about it.

That picture of your gt-s is that with the tinting done... cuz that seems like nothing almost stock but not quite.. probs on the colour.. rally red was my first pick but its hard to come by here in vancouver there selling like hot cakes.. so far i negotiated about $450 plus wheel locks and a possible discount on the tint.. i havent quite picked my % yet...

by the way any1 know of any accesiories i should ask for or how the graduating rebate works..

Yeah, that's the 3M Crystalline CR70. As I said, that's the lowest % I can be due to NY tint law, besides I'm more particular on the effectiveness of the film in blocking UV rays and other harmful solar energies and at the same time not messing up my cellphone, navi, and radio signals.

Make sure you will not be getting a metallize film on your tint project, though.

Check your hometown's tint law, I think for Quebec area, it's 70% on front side and any% on rear side/back windshield.
