I think the stock amp is located under the front passenger seat... That if I'm not mistaken.

I am getting a 2 way alarm installed on weds. I am figuring they will have to take some of the dash apart...hope they know what they are doing :S...will be going over after with a fine tooth comb ;). If everything is ok I will ask how they did it and see if I can pass on the info to you guys...until then

Ha, listen to this, the installer at best buy said he couldn't do it.....I was scared to leave it in his hands...I am sure he knew his stuff, but he told me he couldn't find and wiring diagrams to wire it to the old factory alarm...so after an hour of him looking at it he didn't want to get into it without the schematics...I don't blame him with the amount of wiring in these new cars... So I just returned my alarm and got my money back. I will take it to one shop later that has done one already... SoundWorks, Burnaby, BC, Canada.

I have a Basic GTS CVT and I am having my friend Audio shop put in 2 12's hooked up to the stock head unit in for me. The said I would need a wiring harness adapter...... post pics when done, they said it will work no problem.

I'd really be interested in a HOW TO for the dash.
I wanna reach the back of HU and install an AUX cable.
Please, any braveheart who took apart their dash take some pictures and make a lotta people merry!
