Hello,

I own a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander and have a problem with the cooling fans. About six months ago the cooling fans would stay on from the time the car started to 15 seconds after the car was turned off. Two days ago the fans stopped working. I now see that there is a recall on a faulty cooling fan controller and it looks like it is related to my problem.

Problem I have is that I am stationed in the military in Germany and cannot find a replacement cooling fan controller anywhere. Could someone post a online source that I can order this part online? I've tried to look but most places I looked online don't carry what I need or don't ship to a APO address. Any help from this community would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you can't find one. I saved my old one. It still worked when I had the recall done.

Hey, Just go and see your local mitsu dealer in Germany. they will run your vin number and the recall will come up. the correct part number is 1355A143. If you dont have a local dealer available, PM me with the vin number for your vehicle as well as your name and address and I will process your recall at my dealership and send you the part ( it is really to install).

Thank you to all that replied. I was able to order the cooling fan control module online at this source and they also were able to send to an APO address:

https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html

Also I recently received the part and it worked great (also fast shipping).
