Guys,

I've been looking to pick up a new exhaust. I looked on ebay and they have N1 "style" exhasuts for like 200 bucks. The APXEI N1 costs over 400 bucks. Does anyone know the difference between the the knock off and the Apexi?

Should I save the $$ and get the knock off or spend the $$ and get the Apexi. I'd rather get the cheaper 200 version if it sounds the same. Thats the part im conserned about is the deep, low, rumble'e sound. If the knock off cant do that, then I'll spend the extra $$..

TIA

Drum on .. .. . . .

that would be the quality of the exhaust plus the welds.i just went with a magnaflow cat had a shop make me the piping for 250 total.
i cant tell you if you would be making a good bad decision but if its a knock off then you prolly run into problems.wat i heard from knock off is that they dont last very long either rust or crack at the welds.

The fake N1 exhaust from ebay are crap! if you want something with a deep tone get the greddy Evo II exhaust...and if you still want the N1 go with something like apex'i, megan or HKS...they are all constructed real nice and will give you the NONE-Ricer sound.

I have seen these exhausts too. I personally am going to go with the APEXI. The idea should not be about "deep, loud noise", but about opening up the exhaust in order to help your car breathe better!

Personaly, i think that Manga is for MUSCLE CARS, and that only, APEXI has more import technology behind there work, the N1 is mandel bent meaning less back pressure,Minimal number of bends for maximum efficiency, Manga is good, they do there job, APEXI you pay for the technology, possible better gains,

but if apexi has less bends then it wont fit under ur car exactly. magna flow has been doing exhaust as long as i can remember way before the import seen even started. but whos to say i wished we had some exhaust techs in this forum so we could get the specs.

All performance exhausts are meant to fit the vehicle they say they fit.
