Hello guys im new to this forum, I just recently bought a 08 Lancer ES and I love it. The only thing is that I asked my dealership how I can get my bluetooth working in my car and they said that I need to purchase an additional component and pay their labor fees to get it working. Has anyone got this done on their ES? Thanks

ok heres the deal. they didnt give me the instructs on how to remove the dash. i got to look at them but didnt get to have them. which really isnt bad, because the instructions was pretty much unreadable (real word?). Pictures were as if someone drew it in black pen then shaded it in black pen, then copied it ten times, then shaded the tenth copy in black pen.
disappointed many i have. but i will still try to tinker around with it.

Um... LOL... I have no idea what you just wrote. Does it work good? Were you able to get the model number? What did the component(s) that it needs to work consist of?

just go to mitsubishi and ask for a "bluetooth module" for the lancer. it'll cost about $250. plus installation. Works really cool though.

Cool, the reason I ask is because I want to install it myself. I already know of a place that sells it for 200 even. I wanted to know how hard it was to install. Thanks

So where can you get it for $200? The price I got from the dealer is $300 parts $220 labor. Anyone know what shop manual would have the installation instructions? Sounds like the instructions might be some special addendum.

Hey bro, I got the Model number for that part at home. I have the website that has it too, they have it for $200. They also said they would fax me the manual for it, as soon as I get home ill post the website here. What im going to do is buy the part from the website and either install it myself or get it install by mitsubishi, but at least I will save $50-$100 because mitsu wanted to sell me the part for $280! I can also scan the fax of the manual and post it here when I get it.
