Does anyone know how to fix scratches on 2006 Eclipse rims? The scratch is on the edge of the rim and looks kinda bad. I went up on the curb but no dent in the rim as far as I know. I think the rims are painted. If anyone can help or knows where else I can ask for info. please let me know. Thanks.

Here is a link that might help you out. it really only works with stock wheels. for aftermarket wheels, you probably will need to find a local wheel shop that does repairs.

Kudo's for that one. That's a good find. Looks like it may be more patience than I'm capable of handling though.

Idk how recent this post has been made. But the first month that I had my 4g I hit the curb and scratched my rim-- prettttttty bad. So, my fiance' is a handy man and he sanded the rim down, cleaned all the debris from the gauge off, used JB Weld as a body filler for the scratches, after that hardened, he sanded it down smooth. And then he masked off the area and painted it with Silver Metallic wheel paint, pulled the tape off as soon as the paint was sprayed on- so the edge of the paint would roll over so the paint doesnt leave a defined edge. A  nd it matches perfectly!
