Your test doesn't really prove anything. The two cars AC work differently. Temperature inside the car isn't only affected by the window tint. The color of the car along with the door and window gaskets (I can't spell) play a big role in the interior heat. I think you over paid but it was your money and its your car. Mine and your friends opinion don' really matter. As long as the customer is satisfied.

As I said, the films are not comparable technically because his film is conventionally dyed that only cost him 1/2 of mine but on a darker shade. Besides, I forgot to tell that his car is a 2-week old honda civic so AC and gasket things are assumed functional and effective.
You are right, I'm satisfied with my film big time. Very safe in night/rain driving and backing up, as well as very effective in blocking UV rays and solar heat energy during day driving and don't messed up my cellphone/navi signals. Accordingly, darker tint shade is a road hazard during night/rain driving, especially turning around an intersection corner. And my friend has just told that me that he is driving like a bat during night and with a storm. :57:
