Those are different than the ones via the link on the previous page. They have small holes at seating/back surface.

Shots of Mitsu installed Leather seats. I was asking for pics a while back but I finally made the appointment to get them done, I bought it as part of the car but the car I wanted didnt have em so they were installed afterwards, anyways enjoy. I will post up more shots when I get my cam charged

Center section is perforated and had them do the stitching in red. Nice touch I think

This leather seat is not OEM leather seat cover, can you see the single stitching at the side wing is stitch like a red snake, the double stitching at the middle of the ear seat, is also stitch like a snake, the front seat side wing can see very cleary, the leather trimmer has not create the pattern perfectly, that why the 2 material (Front leather material and Side PVC Material ) was uneven stitch together. Furthermore, the door panel did not even trim.
overall the quality i can only say (Disappointed). below 40% stanadrd.

My leather sits way better than on those pictures above, it looks kind of like stock.
I guess it depends on the installer.

very obvious you can see, is not just the installation work, is also the sewing skill are bad and the template for making leather seat cover are also out of shape.

I'm still kind of new here...

I'm totally confused with the Leather. After reading the post I assume these leather seats were OEM? Or at least designed for the lancer and then dealer installed? The posts look old so maybe this was only with the 2008 model?

I'd really like leather seats but the dealership i'm thinking of buying at says they just contract the job out to aftermarket. I'd like the OEM leather if it's at all possible.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I dont know about all that stitching stuff but OEM Leathers are available.

Shinto555:
Your particular dealer just is probably in the situation that they dont wanna order the seats, because its cheaper (especially if they have something setup w/ a local co.) AND quicker to contract the seats out than order them from Mitsu and wait.... possibly losing a customer in the process.
Dealers do this and usually they dont tell you, and you never know the difference.
The right leather wrapping company can make it look perfectly OEM.

Go to another dealer and ask the same question. See what kind of answer you get.
They might just order the OEMs for you and cut out the middleman.

Roadwire is the official Mitsubishi leather provider.

I did some research on Roadwire and wrote up a post about it. If interested, you can visit below.
