Hi!

I'm having some random troubles with my -99 Carisma (Sold in sweden), and I've tried to read fault codes from it without results. The car has an OBD-II(?) connector located here (picture not from my car, but it's the same position), so I figured that I could use Scanmaster 2 + an ELM based interface (from a company called Lexi or something, I don't have access to it right now, but it was supposed to work with OBD-II so...). The connection gets esablished but the software warns for a connection error on the vehicle.

So, after searching the web I found out that some Mitsubishis use the MUT-II protocol, and that there's some software called EvoScan that is supposed to work. But I don't want to buy it if i'm not shure.

My questions to you are:

1. It there some kind of error with my car since the ECU couldn't been read by my software, or is it simply not supported?
1. If it's not supported, can I use EvoScan instead to read the fault codes?
2. If so, can I use my existing interface with EvoScan, or do I have to buy an interface that is supported by it?

4. If nothing above works, are there any other solutions (interfaces, software, etc.) to my problem?
