I am now a proud owner of a 1997 Eclipse GS. It is sitting in my driveway and I love it.

But there are a couple of questions I have about it.

One is what the hell does this switch do? It's not a killswitch, or anything to do with the starter. The only thing I think this could be, is to the Compuserve system that is on it. But the remote for it is broken so it only opens and closes the car, does anyone know where I can get one?

Also, where can I find replacement parts to the rear windsheild wiper, it's kind of broken; I can spin the thing around completely.

And where can I get a replacement part for the door hinge thingy, this thing:

Love the white enkeis.You'll prob find it easiest to pick up the parts you need for a junkyard,wont cost you much either.

yeah its for the alarm like a killswitch to it.most shops do this in case your remote does not work and the alarm goes off you hit it and it cuts it.as well your car will not start i think until you push it back.

nope, it does not prevent it from starting, but it could be for the alarm thing.
