Hi Guys,

First post so forgive any unnecessary info!
Just got myself a 2001 Spacewagon 2.4 Gdi Automatic. The car was already running when I picked it up from the garage so I didn't notice the ticking noise. This noise sounds very similar to the indicator sound but it starts as soon as the door is opened and lasts for up to 5 minutes which is really annoying.

Any Ideas

Andy,

where is the noise coming from exactly? It sounds like a relay turning on and off from what you decribe. dose the tickin continue when the door is closed. can you locate the noise and disconnect? if so dose anything else stop working when you do so?

There is a switch that operates the door and inside lights, dose the fault go if you disconect this or pull the fuse for inturnal lights?
