Help! I have 62,000 miles on my 2002 Montero Sport (I used to drive a lot for work but have not for more than a year now). And I've heard I'm supposed to replace my timing belt at 60,000 miles. Is this true? I do not have the $ to do this and the rest of the 60,000 mi service - which is more important?
Thanks!!

Timing belt is the most important. usually the water pump is changed at the same time cuz its easly done cuz everything is "stripped down" its not nessicery but further down the roda like 75-95k you'll def. have to do the water pump
