Hi
This is going to sound really stupid but i need to replace the front driver side indicator bulb on my 97 Charisma but cant seem to figure out how to get the old one out and the new one in. Any help greatly appreciated.

I believe from when I changed mine from orange lenses to white it is just a matter of pushing the unit all the way forward or back and then levering the trailing edge outward.wether it is forward or back can be identified by your new one.push towards the flexable side of the unit as this will collapse slightly in order to aid removal when pushed

If you can get to the back of the indicator from inside the bonnet area, you can just twist and pull (I think) to get the holder out.

If you need to extract the whole indicator unit to replace the bulb, there's a screw coming down into it from above which you have to undo first. Be careful when you pull it out that you free the plastic catches which click into holes in the side of the main light unit. These plastic catches are very easily broken so a light touch is needed! Although saying that, if one does break, it's not going to be a problem as the screw is the main thing holding the indicator unit firmly in place.
