Hi Benckj, it pays to renew the timing belt, along with the balance shaft belt, any belt tensioner bearings and the water pump, as if any of these go bad soon after the belt change, you will kick yourself. Give Repco or Supercheap a call, and they will advise all the parts to replace, and give you a price at the same time. I dont think you will need any special tools, but make sure you have everything lined up and dont let the cranckshaft move before you get it back together. Check out a couple of your local mechanics, they will have done this job on a few by now (try Brian Luff) Cheers Gerry
