Hello,
I'm a new member and I'm planning on buying a the Lancer '08 GTS Manual in December of this year, and I was wondering if anyone was able to find cloth headrest covers that matches to the seats? I pretty much want it to be identical, if not something roughly similar. What I want to do is stitch my initials to the seat covers and put it on the headrest.

Or, could the cloth be easily removed from the car to be stitched?

Thanks!

I rmember seeing some headrest covers for our car on ebay, but the thing is...it will never fir snug like the oem's. getting off the oems is gonna be hard, but putting them backon is gonna be even harder. I rememeber seeing a machine that they use to be the covers on the headrest...it sucks all the air out of the headrest liek a sponge and they fit the cloth over it and let the air back in

Thanks for your reply, with your advice it seems as though it might be a rough path to travel down just for my monogrammed headrest covers. But I must say, it would look hot with them. I just gotta plan out my next move.

If anyone else knows a website where I can get universal headrest covers (elastic type) that would be awesome. I'll probably buy them and take the covers to a place to do embroidery.

Thanks a lot all!

Out,

You may be able to take your entire headrest in and they could do it.

Thanks, do you have or know any recommendations? And do you guys think it would be expensive?

I live in New Jersey by the way.

Again, thanks a lot. :)

This is just an idea so no promises it will work. Take it to a place that does clothing work like hem pants, and shorten sleeves. They may be able to help you. I am not sure they will have a set price for that service lol, but worth the try if that is what you want.

There you go:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Custom-Seat-Covers-MITS...1QQcmdZViewItem

ahh... for some reason the link does not work... Just go to ebay and search for 2008 Lancer. It'll give you about 12-14 search results and the seat covers are right there.
