hi ive got a '94 lancer 1.5gls, it has a grinding noise that occurs when you put the clutch in or use engine braking, im almost sure its a thrust bearing as the noise goeas away when in neutral, but id like to know whats involved in replacing the bearing and clutch plate while im at it. i see the manual is up but im a bit of a newbie at this forum and i cant figure out how to see the manual...

I am looking for a copy of the Owners Manual for a 1998 Lancer. If anyone can post a link, that would be huge. I've just bought a GLXi Wagon & want to look up some of the service schedual for it.

I have found a manual that covers the engines; 4G13, 4G92, 4G93 & 4D68.

downlaod the link I posted, it should have all of the info you need, it seems to be a full workshop manual covering all of the car.
The one thing it doesn't have is a service schedual. If you have one in the your Owners Manual, I'd love it if you could email me a copy of it to free_and_easyr@hotmail.com
I don't know how often & when the servicing needs to be done.
