What seems to be the deal with GS trannys, what can be done to them to make them stronger?

for right now the only thing is installing a limited slip differential (LSD) like a quaife or other. I don't think they make stronger gear sets for them yet

could you rebuild a spyder gs (4g64) tranny with gst parts? I know that the gear ratios are different, but I don't know if the computer would be able to bereprogramed to set different shift points.
this is for an auto obviously
