Hi Guys !

I'm the proud new owner of a L300 4WD 2.0 equiped with the 4G63 carb. 2.0.
My van is one of the very last 1983-1986 version, a couple of months before the model was revised and improved by Mitsi.

My ignition system (engine 4G63 2.0 sohc) is *not* electronic but old school mechanical.

I live in France where parts are very hard to find since this model was never sold here.
This van is a 2 sliding door, heating front chairs coming from Switzerland.

Anyway, I figured out that the van is a bit tired (160.000 km) and deserve some new parts. The ignition leads, sparks and distributor cap should be replace.
I would like to know if it would be possible to retrofit this ignition system with an electronic one, like the ones sold on this site : http://www.123ignition.nl/

Their system is very easy to install, it is almost plug'n'drive.

I would love installing one of these kits since it would a bit be fuel saving and would last a long time without any need of replacement...

BTW, I desperately look for the correct part number for the distributor cap,
the one I found are screw fixed (maybe on later 4g63 engines) , mine is just clipsed.

Any suggestion welcome,
thank you for having read me
