Hi ginelli,

The OD light refers to the Overdrive drive button, see this post for explaination:

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t11691-ov...-t-function.htm

Although this refers to a pajero, it performs the same in an RVR.

I had a grin from ear to ear the first time I pressed it in mine - whooosh!

Hope this helps!

I find my TD travels easier in 30mph (UK) limits if I switch the OD off, likewise on slight inclines when the box would normally keep it in OD.
What do you find??
