hi all , this has to be one of the best sites on the web :)
I just installed a after market radio in to my galant 04 es , after hooking the radio up and all and turning the car on. The display for the radio now comes up with a E COM. My question is there any way to disable that bottom display so the E COM text does not appear.

- if some one knows if there is some kind of bypass of this problem please reply back


update i was thinking if the LCD on the bottom was just disconnected then the screen will not display i'm going to pop the lcd out in the morning and see whats under there. i bet its a simple solder job that can take 5 mins. i will post back if i can get it to not display that darn ECOMM
