Mitsubishi Galant should have ESC standard on all models by now it is almost 2008, Mitsubishi should use the GEMA 2.4 liter engine and Hyundai Lambda 3.3 liter V6 and 3.8 liter V6 all engines above use timing chains, why does Mitsubishi continue to use engines with timing belts.

first, its available. Not a single car company has it standard on every car in their lineup.
second, they're going to use the GEMA engines eventually, but they were last on the list to get them. They're in the new lancer, and will be in next years outlander.
third, why on earth would they use Hyundai engines? They have their own engine factories. The GEMA engine is the only corporately shared architecture. Belts are better than chains in many, many ways. Plus, your 98 sonata has a timing belt.

finally, what is the point of your post other than to complain?
