Hello guys, I still have a 1986 L300 4wd , one of the last 1980/1986 production.
She has a 4g63 2.0 SOHC and 160 000 km .

I just purchased it,
and the previous owner did not know if the timing belts where replaced and when. So, I intend to replace them, when I have time.

I wonder if the pistons may hit the valves in case the timing belts brake.
I remember a thread, but I can't remember on which forum, saying the 4G63 is safe for this (but can't remember which 4G63 this applies to)

thank you !
