Pulled the inner release catch to open the bonnet of my 1.8GDI - something twanged and one end of the release cable is now visible inside the car. How can I get the bonnet open? Please. :57:

Well, I discovered how to release the bonnet catch by some blind fiddling (very tricky to get to from under the car, bad design). The release catch cable is broken at the 'bonnet' end - does anyone have the know how to explain how I replace the cable, or diagrams from the manual to pass on to me. Much obliged :57:
