Drives: 1988 Spacewagon GLX 3-speed auto

Hi all. Newbie here, but reasonably competent mechanically (no good on bodywork!). We recently acquired a 1988 3-speed auto Spacewagon GLX in fine condition from a scrapyard in Kent. Only problem at the time was the gearbox was very sluggish, eventually remedied by draining out the EP90 some dillon had filled it with, chaning the filter a couple of times and refilling it with ATF. All has been fine and dandy for the last two years or more, BUT I can't find anything much about service info anywhere. Have an aged Merc 230 with 314k miles on the clock which I service myself, and info is everywhere, including Haynes manuals, but the Mitsu seems to be almost unknown. Even basic engine settings (tappets, plug gaps, service intervals etc) seem elusive. Keen to keep her running well, but getting frustrated, and Mitsu dealers seem to have no or very little info on her at all. For example, is the engine / gearbox combo fitted to anything else? What's the engine type (it's a 1799cc petrol / carb motor). What about the carb and electrics? Braking system? Really nice car and drive, but if you know a source of info, please let me know. Best, Chris
