OK folks, new scanner up and running, and glory be... it scans to PDF files which are much clearer than the photo variety and enlarge much better too. The paper quality of the manual is on the poor side. Please be patient with your requests as I am on dial up at present and they often do not transmit for several attempts due to large file sizes. Fair use - Please specify the pages you NEED, I will do them ASAP for you, e-mail me direct at the following address please, miris@orcon.net.nz thanks, Mike.
DO NOT ASK FOR THE WHOLE MANUAL OR SUBSTANTIAL PARTS OF IT. I NO LONGER RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR MORE THAN A FEW PAGES AS MOST REQUESTS ARE BY NO MEANS MODERATE. I have sold my L300 and replaced it with a Nissan Homy (=Caravan) van for less cost than more repairs to the L300.
FAIR USE LAWS LIMIT IN NZ IS 10%

Sorry I am unable and unwilling to transmit the entire manual. I provide the service on a "need to know" basis to solve the urgent problems of forum members. I do this solely because when I had problems very little useful help was forthcoming and I purchased the manual. I am on dial up and transmitting just a few pages takes forever and often takes more than a couple of attempts to forward these large page files akin to an A4 photograph. Like most I have a job and a home life to juggle around the computer. All of this should not deter anyone with an urgent need for a specific problem from e-mailing me direct miris@orcon.net.nz (e-mailing me through the forum does not enable me to send you the pages requested as it is a forwarded message and I need to load your e-mail address to enable me to send you pages one at a time as most mail programs choke on the large files resulting from multiple page sizes. Regards Mike.

PS Asking for the IBSN page 2 will enable your newsagent (bookshop etc.) to order a manual for you.

The most popular pages requested so far have been about engine timing and timing belts, wiring diagram and wire colour codes, door catch adjustment, hose positions, fan and power steering belts, engine electrical.

If you have found the information helpful, (or not helpful) Please post a comment on the thread. This will keep the thread near the top for easy access for others needing information. Regards to you all, Mike.

Hi Folks! Have just moved house and set up the computer again. I have nearly caught up with all of your requests for pages of info despite many requests for a large number of pages at a time! I am now sending pages via Windows Mail (Vista Business) as my old program had trouble moving MB size files. Unfortunately my 82 L300 has reached the end of it's economic life and is destined for the wrecker, or an offer from someone in Auckland NZ who still has a good motor but needs a good body could make an offer, I suspect a crack in the engine block and at 343,000km and going through huge amounts of water, some of which is getting into the sump, and a good amount steaming out of the tappet cover breathing hose. As I'm about to buy a 12 metre Mercedes bus to live in as a motor home, the L300 will be surplus to requirements. Regards Mike. miris@orcon.net.nz

L300 1987 - 1994 Asked a few times for this info:-

RELAYS. FLASHER UNIT
The flasher unit and relays are located as follows:
The flasher unit, headlamp, power window, rear
heater and rear window demister relays are located in
the relay housing above the drivers side kick panel.
The engine oil level warning relay, the power door
lock relay and the power door lock control unit are
installed behind the right hand side of the dashboard.
On automatic transmission models, the starter relay
and the overdrive relay are mounted on the side of the
selector lever bracket.
On 2.4 litre models, the control relay is installed
behind the glove compartment and the control unit is
installed in the pillar behind the drivers door.
On 4 x 4 models, the automatic free wheeling hub
control unit is located behind the dashboard above the
passengers side kick panel.
Where applicable, the sunroof relays are mounted
to the front of the sunroof frame.

Hi there, I've been scouring the internet for Wiring Diagrams for a 1991 Delica Super Exceed. I think its the same as the L300? It would be awesome if you could email me the lot, but I will settle for body electrical and anything else electrical you might have.
Do you have the ISBN number for that shop book by the way?
I'd really like to get a copy of the shop manual as I do repairs.

Cheers and thanks in advance,

Hi everyone! Just a couple of things to watch when asking for info from the manual:

1. E-mail me direct at miris@orcon.net.nz as I may not check the forum for several days, also if you forward a message via the forum contact system I can not reply to you directly thus taking more time to get your info.

2. I am having to send the following message to some one nearly every day:

Please read the first paragraph (as follows) of my thread on the Mitsubishi forum again. Ask only for what you really NEED please. Thank you, Mike. Also there is often a queue of requests for my limited time.

OK folks, new scanner up and running, and glory be... It scans to PDF files which are much clearer than the photo variety and enlarge much better too. Be patient with your requests as I am on dial up at present and they often do not transmit for several attempts due to large file sizes, around one Mb a page. Fair use - Please specify the pages you NEED, I will do them ASAP for you, e-mail me direct at the following address please, thanks, Mike. miris@orcon.net.nz

I was reading through the thread of you offering specific pages of the L300 manual and people requesting various portions (or all of it)...and there's a much easier way to distribute the sections: Just upload all the sections of the manual to any one (or even a few) of the many free file sharing sites. Then, preferably, just post the URL(s) of the files here on the thread in mitsubishi-forums.com (or post the keywords to use to find the .pdf(s) on the site - your file-sharing site user-name or their .pdf file names should be sufficient). Or, if someone emails you asking for the manual sections you can simply email him/her the same info. This way you will only have to upload the large files once, to the file-sharing site, and and not have to email each requestor a copy. Also, these file sharing sites can accomodate large files, so you could post the entire manual in one file if you so choose...though in 10% chunks or by section/chapter is fine too. Some file sharing sites that offer free upload/download are:
www.sendspace.com
w14.easy-share.com
depositfiles.com/en/
rapidshare.com/

Thanks very much for taking the time to do all this....MUCH appreciated!
