This will take about 5 minutes, so get comfortable! :57:

I've got a mitsubishi van 1996 2.0 litre cauberetted / have had problems with the fuel pump / after hard wiring the pump directly to the battery it appears to work / the fuel pump is controled by a relay called: FUEL PUMP CONTROL RELAY / it seems like it might control other things like the indicators / i dont know if it does but ive looked everywhere for it and have asked NRMA Mitsubishi Techincal advice / the advice is as follows: ECM is a device which is located along side the drivers seat on "B Piller" / the ECM is self testing [and] any faults detected will be written to the fault memory / which i understand but dont know what ECM stands for / I think the ECM is a coupling or serveral connections which is where about 50 - 80 wires meet which enables Auto Electricians to access, identify and test for faults easily at the same time / as a semi qualified Electrician, I read one particular chapter from AUTO-TECH Mitsubishi L300 SJ 2.4L (4G64 Engine) 1994 - 03 Engine Management System the components and specification included a component location of the control relay it says A8 (a wire in one of the connectors) is located on connector A which is connected directly to the to the control relay and it should read a certain voltage to be working while cranking the engine which is helpful because i can test it myself to see if the correct volts are measured and if it isn't then replace it / the control relay is located under the dash near the wiper motor / ive found many relays on the vehicle that are about the size of a smallish easter egg near the fuse box and behind the drivers foot rest / fuel pump control relay has 8 seperate wires connected to it and cant be found anyways (ive got more information about the location of wires and what they are connected to if you need any more info) / does anyone have any wiring diagrams of mitsubishi express, L300 or Nimbus and help me find the control relay?

ECM= Electronic Control Module. basicly a computer that receives signal data from various engine sensors (rpm, air going into, exhaust, and so on) to adjust fuel delivery and spark.

I fixed the fuel pump :amen: and then found out the inibitor switch is stopping the starter relay. The inhibitor switch is located in between the ignition and the starter relay. anyone know where the inibitor switch is located?

Thanks for above suggestion as to file sharing services,(post#20) however, upon further investigation I find these type of sites are free only for a short time and unless they generate an unreasonably high rate of hits would be auto deleted thus wasting the incredible amount of my time uploading on dial up.
